Our Affinity line of LoRaWAN gateways is built for enterprise users. Affinity offers robust
enclosures for indoor and outdoor use. Industrial rated components for the toughest of
situations. Fleet managament is provided for ease of use.
Affinity utilizes Amazon Web Services (AWS) and offers a truly plug and play solution for all of
your LoRaWAN needs. Affinity gateways are sensor agnostic and easily connects to the LoRaWAN
sensor of your choice.
Depending on your netowrk needs, Affinity is capable of being a Helium hotspot, The Things
Network/Industries gateway, Everynet gateway or a Senet gateway.
Unlike your mobile device, IoT Devices typically have no convenient way of expressing network connectivity. Our Impulse device is designed to let you go out into the field and know immediately if you have network coverage. Impulse plugs into your Android Device, giving you complete control of the timing of your uplinks, showing you on a map how good your coverage really is for your IoT network right where you are standing. Logging data to CSV and KML files allows you to take that data and analyze not only where you have coverage but where you do not have coverage. Our KST5420 is designed for LoRaWAN Networks, and we take care of all of the onboarding. Plug it in, tap a button, and know immediately what your Helium or The Things Network coverage is like. See your data on Helium’s Cargo or TTN’s Mapper instantly.
Impulse – Plug in; Know your coverage!
Since 2017, KST has shipped thousands upon thousands our Distance Sensor products. We utilize a Class 1 laser to pinpoint non-contact distance of most solid and liquid surfaces with 10mm accuracy up to a 4m range. Our products vary from indoor to outdoor, alkaline to Lithium batteries, small to large. There are pro’s and con’s of a laser-based approach compared to ultrasonic, but in general, we prefer the no dead-zone approach to laser, along with the precision it provides. We can report up to the four nearest distances along with the ambient and reflected light-level conditions in your deployment.
We always love to create variants and private versions of our products that perfectly fit your needs and have crafted a dozen of those solutions over the years, so contact us today so we can have a conversation about the distance measurement you are trying to solve.
Almost since our inception in 2003, KST has used temperature sensors to solve a variety of complex remote challenges. But, we’ve never had a dedicated temperature/humidity sensing product until now. The KST3650 consists of three products, a Probe, a Cable, and an RF Transceiver that allows you to measure temperature and humidity in an incredibly precise, low-hysteresis way. The small form factor allows you to bolt the RF Transceiver to anything ranging from walls to equipment. The 1m Cable allows you to place the RF Transceiver in one optimal location and the Probe in a different one. And, each one of KST’s interchangeable temperature/humidity probes is individually certified, individually factory calibrated, and has its own ISO17025-backed calibration certificate. Temperature and Humidity Sensors are ubiquitous in the IoT, but we have created something special and unique in terms of performance and precision.
If you have ever used an Amazon Kindle Device, then you are already familiar with the amazing clarity, low-power, and direct-sunlight readability nature of an electronic paper display. With the introduction of of the Electronic Shelf Label Service by the Bluetooth SIG in 2023, we are more excited than ever to bring our KST20 Series to market. These wireless electronic paper displays conform to the ESL Service and therefore offer a non-proprietary complement to your display needs.
Grocery Stores are an obvious use-case for an Electronic Shelf Label, but at KST, we’re excited to see these displays used in so many more applications, including supply chain, inventory control, stadiums, hospitals, hotels, theme parks, and so many more areas. Combined with sensors, displays are a way of give people feedback remotely, when it is needed, and in conjunction with what might be happening in a specific area. Because the display consumes ZERO power (not an exaggeration – 0.0 Watts!) once updated, it is a natural fit with other, low power wireless technologies such as Bluetooth and LoRaWAN.
At the moment, KST builds wireless electronic paper displays on a full custom basis. However, an off-the-shelf offering is right around the corner thanks to the introduction of the ESL Service this year by the Bluetooth SIG. Stay tuned!
Do you have a UART on your board but with to make your product work immediately with other devices over BLE? Do you have a challenge knowing the content and concentration of materials within a solid or a liquid (such as jet fuel, cooking oil, or even plastics)? Do you just need to know remotely if a door is open or closed? We have a variety of other products we have created over time that may fit your needs or be easily adapted to whatever measurement challenge you have. The majority of our product sales are “private products” where we have listened to a specific need and then met that need with a specific implementation using our existing Intellectual Property and Modular Approach. Contact us today with your measurement challenge, and let’s see what we can do together!
